My name is Cassandria Barlow-Mayfield. I'm a classical concert pianist with a bachelors and a masters degree in piano performance from the University of Utah (read more about me). I have been performing for more than 40 years and teaching piano lessons for more than 30 years. I am passionate about music!

The purpose of this site is to share my musical thoughts and experiences, as well as connect with students and other teachers. I will post about performance practice, practicing techniques, pieces that I am excited about, discoveries I and my students are making, and many other music related topics.
